New Season, New Heist, New Thrills
What's really exciting about Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine is how Netflix has decided to treat Berlin's escapades like individual cinema events. Gone are the days of just sequential TV series storytelling – now each season is its own mini-movie, starting fresh, so new viewers won't feel like they've missed out.
This season, the adventure takes place in the exotic locales of Seville, Spain, where Berlin, portrayed by Pedro Alonso, and his gang are on a bold mission to swipe the famous Leonardo da Vinci painting, The Lady with an Ermine. But, of course, things aren't as straightforward as they seem. When the Duke and Duchess of Málaga try to blackmail Berlin, he does what he knows best – he plots revenge. Classic Berlin, right?
Meet the Cast – Old Friends and New Faces
The cast lineup for season 2 is an exciting mix of familiar faces and intriguing newcomers. Alongside Alonso are returning cast members like Michelle Jenner as Keila and Tristán Ulloa playing Damián. We've also got some fresh talent joining the fray, including Inma Cuesta, José Luis García-Pérez, and Marta Nieto portraying the aristocratic Duke and Duchess of Málaga. Personally, I can't wait to see how these new dynamics play out.

Behind The Scenes: The Making of Season 2
If you're like me and have a soft spot for the behind-the-scenes magic, there's some cool stuff going on with Berlin season 2 too. Filming kicked off back in January 2025 across Spain, covering stunning cities like Seville, Madrid, and San Sebastián, under the visionary eyes of directors Albert Pintó, David Barrocal, and José Manuel Cravioto. It’s all masterminded by the brilliant creators Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato, who’ve been striking gold with this series.
The first season was a massive success, clocking in at ninth place among Netflix’s non-English series. Those 372.6 million hours watched make it clear – we're all hooked! The decision to spin more tales from Berlin’s repertoire was a no-brainer for Netflix. Let's see if season 2 meets the high bar set by Berlin and the Jewels of Paris.
So, are you ready to binge this latest heist adventure? Grab your popcorn, and let’s see what chaos Berlin brings us this time. I, for one, am excited to see if his contagious charisma still holds us all in its grip.
